Legal Services
The legal office provides legal assistance and claims services for active-duty members, retired military members and their families. The judge advocates are licensed attorneys who assist eligible individuals on personal civil legal matters. The 2d Bomb Wing Staff Judge Advocate's Office is located in Bldg. 3433 Davis Avenue.

Hours of Operation
Attorneys provide legal advice on a walk-in basis on Thursdays at 10:30; please check in by 10:15 a.m. Wills are by appointment only Monday through Friday. Powers of attorney and notary service are provided on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Powers of attorney are prepared and notarized "while you wait." For other legal advice, please call to schedule a legal assistance appointment. The legal office may be contacted by calling 318-456-2561/2562 or DSN 312-781-2561/2562.
Claims Services
All House Hold Goods claims are now filed online through the Air Force Claims Service Center. Air Force Claims Service Center can be contacted by phone at DSN 312-986-8044 or 1-877-754-1212. The DD Form 1840/1840R (the "pink form") still needs to be filed within 70 days from date of delivery of your household goods. If you have difficulty contacting the AFCSC, please contact the base claims office for assistance at 318-456-2562. All other claims are processed through the legal office on a walk-in basis each day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
