Temporary Housing
Temporary Lodging Facility
Temporary lodging is available at the Ensign Jesse L. Brown Memorial Combined Bachelor Quarters. The Combined Bachelor Quarters operation consists of 23 buildings and is capable of housing close to 1,500 personnel, including permanent party bachelors, geographical bachelors, students, transients, and family transients.
Availability
There are several types of rooms available at the CBQ, including VIP Suites (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and sofa sleeper), 1 Bedroom Suites, Private Rooms, and 2 Bedroom Apartments. Rollaway beds and cribs are available free of charge. Children under 12 stay free.
Check In
There is a 24-hour central check-in service provided for all personnel at the Front Desk of the central complex at Building 218, the Ensign Jesse L. Brown Memorial Combined Bachelor Quarters. A-School MATSS-1 check-in is a 24-hour operation in Building 201. NTTC A-School students are registered at the CBQ Front Desk in Building 218.
Amenities
Washers and dryers are located in all buildings at no cost to residents. Television lounges are provided in all buildings. Kitchen facilities are available to all officers, family transients, and permanent party residents. Weight rooms are available to residents residing in the 218 complex. Television lounges and a game room are also available to residents of the 218 complex, in addition to ping-pong and billiard tables.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in any room throughout the Combined Bachelor Quarters. A service charge of $150.00 per day will be assessed if a pet is found in a room.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any room throughout the Combined Bachelor Quarters. A service charge of $150.00 per day is assessed if smoking is found in a room.

Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS)
Temporary lodging is available at the Naval Air Station NGIS. We offer several types of rooms and suites including DV Suites (2 bedrooms, 2 baths), 1-bedroom suites, and private rooms and baths. There is a $5.00 charge for each accompanying guest beginning with the third occupant.
Check In
The Reception Center is open 24-hour a day, 365 days a year, and is located at 218 Fuller Road.
Amenities
We provide free washers, dryers, and television lounges in all buildings. Kitchen facilities and exercise rooms are available. We also offer all in-room amenities found in a mid-grade hotels.
Pets
We are not equipped to accommodate pets. Please ask the Receptionists for a listing of all pet boarding facilities in Meridian and the surrounding areas. We charge a one time pet cleaning fee of $150.00 when the staff finds pets. Additionally, we may ask guests to leave if pets are found.
Smoking
All NGIS buildings are non-smoking. We charge a one-time smoke remediation fee of $150.00 if smoking is found in a room. Additionally, we may ask guests to leave if the staff finds indication of smoking in the rooms or suites.
Reservations
Reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance including those for Space "A" guests. All Space "A" reservations require advance credit card payment. All guests must cancel their reservations no later than 1800 on the arrival date. Failure to cancel a reservation will result in a one-night service charge.
