Wills are done on Tuesdays only. Initial in-take is done Tuesday mornings, and the finalization is done Tuesday afternoons one week later. If both spouses are making wills then they both will need to be present and they will need their own individual appointments (although they can request to see the same attorney).
Powers Of Attorney
Usually are performed on a daily walk-in basis, with possible delay due to a lack of Notaries, and will fall behind those clients who already have an appointment. If a SPOA is being done for a vehicle or a home, information such as such as VIN or legal property description (found on title or deed) is required to complete the form. Be aware that not all businesses or organizations will honor the POAs. Therefore, it is recommended that you check with your financial institution or place you plan on using the POA for their acceptance.
An appointment is required for a consultation with an attorney. If a spouse has been seen for the same reason, a conflict arises and the second person will not be able to be seen at this office and will be referred to White Sands Missile Range Legal Office.
Handouts and Factsheets are available in the waiting room of Building 113, 1st floor, Pershing Road. Advice will not be given over the phone due to not being able to ascertain your identity and eligibility for services. Unfortunately, we are not staffed or equipped to provide any "call-backs".
