Legal Services
NAS Fallon Legal Office is a Regional Legal Service Office (RLSO) Detachment, which is a branch of Naval Legal Service Office (NLSO) Southwest. NLSO Southwest's mission is to provide comprehensive legal support to Navy commands and individual service members throughout their extensive area of responsibility. Legal Assistance is available to eligible clients seeking assistance with personal civil legal matters. Assistance may include advice, analysis, research, negotiation, notary services, and document review or preparation. Legal Assistance also provides services to educate eligible persons and command representatives regarding personal legal rights and responsibilities.
Eligibility for Services
Individuals eligible for NLSO/RSLO service: Active Duty, Retirees, and Reservists on Active Duty, and their dependents with ID card. Proper valid military ID is required to receive services. An ID check is conducted at the legal assistance check-in desk.
Not Eligible for Services
Individuals not eligible for NLSO/RLSO services: Civilians or Department of Defense employees that are stationed at a command in the continental United States.
Services Available
Wills are done by appointment only.
Powers of Attorney and Notaries are provided on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday.
Legal assistance is provided via teleconference. Since NAS Fallon does not have a full-service NLSO on installation, NLSO Lemoore provides the teleconference assistance. To arrange for a teleconference appointment, visit the RLSO SW Det Fallon Office located at Building 305.
