Temporary Lodging Facility
There are 6 vacation homes and 16 business suites located on Tobyhanna Army Depot. Each vacation home has two bedrooms, full bath, living room and kitchen. There is a three bedroom unit as well. The business suite consists of one bedroom, full bath, living room and kitchenette (all suites have a microwave, stovetop and refrigerator, 3 suites have full ovens).
Rates
Rate start about $77 (or at current per diem rate) for Business Suite, double occupancy and $5 charge per day will be added per person for reservations of more than two people.
Rate is $95 for Vacation Home for up to four people and $5 charge per day will be added per person for reservations of more than four people. Please note that if you are on PCS orders, your rate for the Vacation Home WILL be the per diem rate of $77. Please be sure to let the Reservation Office know that you are on PCS orders when you make your reservations.
Reservations
Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible. PCS and TDY have priority.
Call 570-615-6343, DSN 312-795-6343, Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., to make reservations.
Pets
No pets are allowed. Off-post kennels are available. Kennels are located 18 - 24 miles from the installation. Please contact an area kennel as far in advance as possible: VCA Dunmore Animal Hospital, 570-344-7651 offer kennel services for dogs and cats. Trifecta Kennels, 610-681-4521 offer kennel services for dogs.
