Hours of Operation
The legal office requests that all active duty members use walk-in hours as much as possible. Walk-in hours are Monday, 8:00am - 9:00am and Wednesday, 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Retirees may make appointments.
Types of Services
The legal office provides assistance in:
- Preparing wills
- Powers of attorney
- Reviewing certain legal documents (i.e., real estate contracts, lease agreements, and purchase agreements).
Claims Service
The Claims Division will provide claim forms and instructions concerning the submission of claims for damages or loss of household goods. Those filing a claim must file within 70 days of the delivery of household goods.
Military Justice Division
Crime victims and witnesses can receive briefings on the military justice system and their rights under the law from the Military Justice Division.
Eligibility for Services
Eligible recipients include active duty military personnel and their family members; reserve personnel on active duty status; and retirees and their family members and survivors of deceased retired personnel.
