Temporary Lodging Facilities

Soldiers PCSing to Fort Hood can call Holiday Inn Express, Candlewood Suites , IHG Army Hotels, 254-532-5157, 254-532-8233 or 1-877-711-8326 for reservations. Due to large number of personnel in an official status, reservations are recommended. There are two locations available suited to different lodging requirements. All facilities are non- smoking. Hot breakfast is provided at each property. Each Wednesday the hotel will host a cook out for all guests of the hotels on post.

The Candlewood Suites is a 93-unit facility with full kitchens for the service member with families or those service members requiring extended stay.

Holiday Inn Express, IHG Army Hotels provides hotel/motel type accommodations comparable to the local economy. Facilities are pet friendly. Non-refundable pet fees will apply. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m, the day of departure. Late check out may be prearranged with the front desk.

Payment is required in advance or presentation of valid credit card upon check-in. Credit Cards excepted are: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Credit Card authorization will be processed for payment every 7 days. Cash paying guest must be current daily by 11:00 am.
