- Reservations
- Upon arrival to Dyess, make your first stop at The Inns of Dyess, 441 Fifth St. It's open 24 hours a day. They'll set you up with a place to stay as you begin in-processing. Most rooms are within walking distance to the dining facility, club, base exchange and commissary. Another word of advice--people on official travel should make billeting reservations early. Call (325) 696-2681, DSN 461-2681 or logon to www.dyessforcesupportsq.com. Dyess Inn reservations can be made for families inbound on PCS orders; however, reservations are not always guaranteed. Accommodations are on a first come, first serve basis by your reservation number. When making reservations, (DSN 312-461-2681 or 325-696-2681), you will need to give your name, social security number, rank, organization, arrival date, and number of people in your family.
- Length of Stay
- Those who do obtain accommodations in one of the 40 TLF quarters may stay a maximum of 30 days. Extensions may be granted in cases of hardship if vacancies exist.
- Reimbursement of Stay
- Very Important: Even though you can stay in the TLF for up to 30 days (with reservations), you will only be authorized financial reimbursement for ten days of that stay.
- Pets
- Dyess Inn will not allow pets in most rooms. Some rooms in Temporary Lodging Facilities have been converted to accommodate guests with a dog or a cat. There is a non-refundable charge per day on top of the normal room rate. Since facilities are very limited, pet boarding arrangements should be made in advance. Please call for fees for the pet friendly rooms.
