Description & Pricing
* The Inn has 40 units in its temporary lodging facility to house Permanent Change of Station(PCS) families.
* The Carolina Pines Inn provides temporary housing for members on temporary duty assignment and permanent change of station orders, for families visiting hospital patients, and depending on space availability, for visitors of active-duty members. There are no unaccompanied-officers’ quarters available to accommodate permanent party officers.

Policies
Reservations - Reservations may be made for members on orders by calling the lodging office at 803-895-3803, 803-895-3802, toll free 888-235-6343 or DSN 312-965-3803. The Lodging Office is across from the Shaw Conference Center and Officer's Club. For members on orders, make your reservations as soon as possible.
Pets - The Carolina Pines Inn handles all temporary lodging needs for members and their families. Lodging is open 24 hours a day and consists of 14 pet-friendly units and guest utilizing these quarters incur a pet fee of $10.00 that is applied to their account daily. Guest must abide by the Air Force Lodging Pet policy and provide proof for all vaccination at the time of check-in. If a pet friendly unit is not available, guest will need to kennel their pets. Please check the Airman and Family Readiness Center or the Carolina Pines Inn for a list of kennels in the local area.
Cost Reimbursement - First Term Airmen arriving at Shaw AFB with less than a 20 week Technical School are not authorized reimbursement for TLF. Fax a copy of your orders to your sponsor so that a dormitory room can be secured in advance of your arrival to avoid unnecessary costs. First term Airmen arriving at Shaw from a Technical school lasting more than 20 weeks will be reimbursed for their TLF. Married First Term Airmen will be paid BAH rates to offset temporary lodging costs.
