Inprocessing Procedures
Arriving During Normal Working Hours
All personnel reporting aboard shall first report to the Administration Office, on Boca Chica for endorsement of orders and to start the check-in process with your sponsor.
Personnel Arriving After Normal Working Hours
Unaccompanied -- The first stop is the NAS Key West Operations Center located in the Command Building on Boca Chica who will endorse the orders. The next stop will be Housing Welcome Center located at Sigsbee Park, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. where the service member will be OFFERED quarters. Temporary quarters will COST YOU per day. It is suggested that you make reservations ahead of time if you are coming in over the weekend so a room is available. Contact 305-293-2013/2095 or DSN 312-493-2013/2095 for additional information. Reservations for temporary quarters can be made by your sponsor. Ensure your temporary lodging is made early while you await quarters - especially if you arrive during the weekend.
Accompanied -- Personnel newly reporting aboard shall first report to the Administration Office, Command Building for endorsement of orders, etc. If permanent quarters have not been acquired by your sponsor, temporary quarters will need to be obtained prior to your arrival. Check with Personal Property, Building V4059 on your household goods status at 305-293-2973 before accepting the keys to your quarters. The Housing Welcome Center is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for housing assignment which can be held up to thirty days.
