Morale, Welfare and Recreation at West Point! We at MWR heartily subscribe to the tenet that military families should enjoy the same level of services they would expect in their civilian hometowns, and we strive to enhance your quality of life at USMA though a variety of "First Choice" MWR services and products. We are privileged to live and work at a beautiful and historic national treasure-there is so much to see and do here, and we hope you take advantage of the many recreational and educational opportunities at West Point.

The Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation is comprised of six major divisions and several branch activities.
Army Community Service Division (ACSD)
Division Chief: Ms. Jill O'Brien
Army Community Service (ACS) was created to support the soldiers and their families. ACSD is the primary resources center for development, coordination and delivery of support services to the West Point Community.
Business Operations Division (BOD)
The BOD operates the West Point Club, the Five Star Inn, Bowling Center and the West Point Golf Club. BOD also operates a catering and party facility rental service. The following party facilities are available for your wedding, parties and other functions. The Train Station at South Dock, the Class of '49 Lodge at Delafield Pond, the Golf Course Clubhouse and the Class of '48 Ski Lodge. Contracting office representative for the Thayer Hotel.
Child & Youth Services Division (CYSD)
CYSD office coordinates the various services that provide social support to soldiers and their families at West Point. The branches of CYSD are Child Development Services (CDS), School Age Services (SAS), Family Child Care (FCC), and Youth Services (YS).
Recreation Division (RD)
RD operates Auto Skills, Multi Crafts, Posts Library, Ski Area, Intramural Sports, Information, Ticketing & Registration (ITR), Fitness Center, Morgan Farm and Kennel, Round Pond and Outdoor Recreation Programs. The ITR office is where you can register for defensive driving classes; pay for quarters-cleaning contracts; make Boy Scout reservations for Lake Frederick; reservations fro Bull Pond and buy hunting and fishing permits.
