Temporary Lodging Facility(TLF)
As soon as you have a definite arrival date to Tyndall, you may call the Sand Dollar Inn and make reservations for either Billeting or TLF at DSN 312-523-4210 or 850-283-4210. Most newcomers to Tyndall AFB are now eligible for up to 10 days of Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE).

Availability
The Sand Dollar Inn offers a 24 hour arrival point for all personnel arriving in a Permanent Change of Station PCS/TDY status. Temporary lodging is supported with 52 family housings units comprising of two, three and four bedroom duplexes for personnel with families in a PCS status.
Pets
Pet friendly units are available on a "first come" basis.There is an additional non refundable daily charge of $10 per day for the pet friendly units. If you have pets and a pet friendly unit is not available, they must be boarded in one of the local kennels. Pets are not allowed in or around any other lodging facilities. A maintenance fee will be charged to personnel who have pets in unauthorized rooms. A list of kennels is available at the Sand Dollar Inn check-in desk or the Tyndall Family Support Center, Bldg. 745.
Unaccompanied Personnel Lodging
Unaccompanied personnel will normally be housed in the (VQ)/(VOQ)Visiting Quarters/Visiting Officers Quarters area if space permits.
Reservations
Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis for all personnel traveling in a TDY or Space A mode. Most newcomers to Tyndall AFB are now eligible for up to 10 days of TLE (Temporary Lodging Expense).
