There are some places on base, for recreation, that you need to become familiar with.  These are some of the facilities available to you:

The sports and fitness center, which just recently has been renovated, has basketball courts, racquetball courts, a cardiovascular exercise room, a weight lifting room and separate Body Master circuit training area.  Outdoor recreational facilities include basketball courts, three softball fields, running track, football and soccer field, multi-purpose field and four tennis courts.

The trap and skeet range, has eight trap and three skeet ranges for shotgun shooting. Shotguns are available for on-range rental.  Membership is not required.

The Silver Sage Riding Club and Stable were established privately to provide a recreational outlet for members and their families and to promote an interest in good horsemanship.  Currently, Silver Sage Stable has 45 stalls.  The facilities include a large, lighted area, holding pens, one round exercise pen and clubhouse.  Each stall has a fenced paddock, enclosed stall and private tack room.  All stalls are equipped with electricity and running water.
