- Temporary Lodging Facility
- Little Rock AFB provides comfortable temporary lodging for PCSing single and married members. For the married members with families, we have one and two-bedroom TLFs with all the amenities to include a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and TV, DVD/VCR, and phone in every room. The units also include a pull-out couch in the living room. We also have several pet-friendly units with a fee of $10.00 per day/per unit, limit two pets per unit (cats and/or dogs only). Proof of rabies shots, as a minimum, ARE required prior to check-in. Evidence of additional shots may be required. Authorized duration of stay for PCS personnel is 30 days. Any extensions required over the original 30 days have to be presented to management in writing (Lodging has a locally devised form) and approval of such will depend on availability of guests’ authorized room type.
- Single Members Check In
- Single members will be housed in a VQ type room after checking in at Lodging’s front desk, building 1024, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On the earliest duty day, the member will be provided with a permanent dorm room. If base lodging is not available, the information in the following paragraph also applies to single members.
- Availability
- The base offers accommodations for families and single members. A new facility for 50 families is available with kitchen units (Temporary Lodging Facility), several of them being pet-friendly. If on base lodging is not available, and the member is on PCS status, whether single or with a family, he/she will get a “Non-Availability” (NA) letter authorizing reimbursement up to the local maximum lodging per diem for off base accommodations. In conjunction with the “NA” letter, the member will also receive a return reservation date for on-base accommodations at the earliest date possible. If on TDY status and on base accommodations are not available, contract quarters will be provided at one of the local hotels in conjunction with a return reservation date for on base accommodations at the earliest date possible. Usually contract quarters do not provide cooking facilities, but restaurants are located nearby.
- Reservations

- Check In/Check Out for Base Lodging
- Normal check-in time is 2:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Late check-outs will be charged as an additional night's stay. Students need to review class schedules to ensure that they will be out of class prior to check-out time, or check-out before going to class. If a guest who has paid by cash checks out early and is due a refund, he/she will be refunded up to two days charges (if funds are available). If funds are not available, the guest will be ask to fill out an electronic refund request form, requiring the guest’s financial institution routing number. If a check payment was made, the transaction must be more than five days old for a cash refund to be authorized (if funds are available. If not, an electronic refund request form will be needed. Full refunds will be done immediately at checkout for credit card payments by processing a "credit" to the same credit card payment was made with. Guests must submit a valid credit card number to hold a room past 6:00 p.m.
- Amenities/Facilities Information
- Assorted sundries are available at the front desk counter. Guests must be of legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages (21 years old). Our distinguished-visitor suites are stocked daily with assorted snacks, beverages and liquor. There are price listings in all DV suites. Laundry rooms are located on the first floor of each building, and only authorized guests may use the rooms without cost. There are vending machines for detergents. Ice machines are located in each of the laundry rooms. Wake-up service is available 24 hours a day. Every room is equipped with clock radio, microwave, television, phone, refrigerator and ironing boards and irons. There is a directory in each room with base and local area information and phone numbers and lodging policies. Bike lockers are available for rent. Bikes are not allowed in any Lodging building at anytime. Lost-and-found items are held for 30 days and then disposed of according to applicable directives. Boats, trailers, and oversized vehicles are not to be parked in lodging lots overnight. Contact Outdoor Recreation at 501–987–3365/6766 for storage of vehicles. All lodging facilities are non-smoking. If evidence of smoking is found in the room, a cleaning fee will be assessed.
- Pets
- We also have several pet-friendly TLF units with a pet fee per day/per unit, limit two pets per unit (cats and/or dogs only). Proof of rabies shots, as a minimum, ARE required prior to check-in. Evidence of additional shots may be required. Any indication of pets being housed in a non-pet friendly room will consequently result in an additional cleaning fee.
