Child Development Centers: Three centers on post (Fort Meade has been approved for funding for a 144 capacity multi-purpose CDC and a 24 capacity Mini-CDC, the 
latter to operate as a 24/7 center) provide child care services for children six weeks through preschool. All the CDC’s at Fort Meade have earned accreditation from the National Association of Education of Young Children. Programs include Full Day Care, Hourly care and Part Day pre –School.
