Eligibility/Orders
Eligible personnel are Active duty Soldiers and their families, Retirees and DoD Civilians. Official travelers have priority and must present orders upon check in. Rooms may be reserved up to one year in advance.
Availability; Costs; Registration
Visitor housing facilities include 284 units for PCS and TDY personnel. Facilities include a modern 162-unit visiting officers quarters and 122 transient units that feature private or shared kitchen facilities, and some rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning. Maid service is provided to TDY transient units.
Guest houses include a 21-unit complex, plus 12 other units, where temporary lodging is offered at modest rates for all military on PCS status. Single travelers will pay between $36 and $57 per night; couples average $43 to $58 per night depending on unit. Other TDY DOD personnel are authorized use of the guest house facilities on a space-available basis. Normal check in is 2:00 p.m., and check out is at 11:00 a.m. Other arrangements may be allowed due to circumstances, on a case by case basis.
On the installation you will find an RV resort, Apache Flats, that is open to Active duty, military dependants, retirees and DoD civilians. Reservations may be made 60 days out for active duty personnel and retirees, 30 days for DoD civilians. For your convenience, 56 concrete pull-through slots are available, and the price includes full hook and cable 30 and 50 amp hook ups are available at each slot. Laundry, restroom and shower facilities are available for guests. Maximum Length of Stay
Active duty Soldiers and Retirees are allowed to stay for 90 days; DoD Civilians are allowed to stay for 30 days due to the high volume of visitors. Active duty military members can sponsor guests at the RV park for one week depending on space available.
Location
The Army Lodging Office is located in Glassford Hall, Building 43083. The RV park is located on Apache Flats, Building 30212.
Pet Restrictions
Up to 3 animals are allowed to stay in 7 units at a cost of $10 per animal. Breed restrictions are Pit Bulls and Rottweiler’s. Special consideration will be given to Service Dogs to ensure they can stay with the owners.
Special Needs Units
The Holman House has one handicapped accessible room.
