The Rock Island Arsenal does not have a Department of Defense Dependent School on this installation. Children living on post attend the Moline, Illinois School District. Specifically, elementary students attend Franklin, 5312 11th Avenue C, Junior High students attend Wilson Middle School, 1301 48th Street, and high school students attend Moline High School, 3600 Avenue of the Cities. The Rock Island Arsenal provides school bus transportation to these designated Moline Schools.
There are 19 school districts within a 25 mile radius of the installation. Students living on the Arsenal attend the Moline School District.
