*The Sakakawea Inn has a total of 75 rooms to provide their guests with quality service and accommodations. Rooms consist of 15 TLFs, 30 VOs, 6 DV suites, and 24 VAQs (shared bath).

Policies
*Reservations - Make reservations for temporary lodging as soon as you receive orders. When space is not available on base, the lodging office will attempt to make arrangements for off-base lodging (contract quarters) with local hotels. There is an extreme lodging shortage in the Minot community during most months of the year. Reservations during the busy summer season should be made 30-90 days in advance. When there is no lodging on base or in Minot, alternate accommodations are 70-125 miles from base.
*Reservations should be made at least 30 days in advance for inbound personnel for a period of up to 30 days, space permitting. Space A reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance and confirmed for up to 3 days, space permitting.
*There's now a toll free number for all duty and space-available travelers to use in making Air Force CONUS lodging reservations. The toll free number is 1-888-AF LODGE (1-888-235-6343).
*Lodging and local hotels are booked for state sponsored events in late July, early September, and early October. If PCSing during these times please call us for exact dates to confirm reservations as far in advance as possible or plan your arrival/departure dates around these dates.
*Pets - Pets are not allowed in visiting quarters facilities. There are five pet-friendly family units available on a first-come/first-serve basis. If pet friendly rooms are booked, ask desk for arrangement options.
