Travel Planning

The Navy Lodge is located on Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and is within walking distance to the main Navy Exchange, Commissary, Gym, restaurants, and Credit Union. Bachelor quarters are available to incoming personnel. Pets are NOT allowed bachelor's quarters. Navy Lodge accepts pets, however there are restrictions, so be sure to call ahead.
If you have not been assigned a sponsor, you may contact your future command or contact the Relocation Office at 360-396-4115 to request one. Having a sponsor can make this relocation experience less stressful plus they can provide you with information specific to you and your families needs.
If you are planning to take leave (either personal or for house hunting), please inform your command and make sure you follow the correct procedures such as submitting a leave request prior to making plans.
Inprocessing Procedures

They will assist you in getting to the barracks, if needed. If you need to call the duty office, the number is 360-396-4800 or DSN 312-744-4800.
What to do if you get Married enroute?
If you get married before you PCS, you MUST inform your command and follow the procedures exactly as they are given. The military will NOT pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures.
Documents to Handcarry
Active duty members should bring their orders and service record for in-processing. Medical records (or at least a copy) for both you and your family members should be hand carried. If you get married enroute, make sure you have a copy of your marriage certificate. This will allow you to get an ID card for your new spouse, have them added to your page 2, and give them access to medical assistance. If possible, bring a copy of school records to speed up the process of appropriate school placement and continued educational plans.
