Eglin Air Force Base: Whats for dinner?

Elgin Air Force Base is located just 3 miles southwest of Valparaiso, Florida. Elgin is the focal point of the Air Force. The biggest argument in my house is where to go for dinner. Don`t worry we have it covered!

The Salty Duck -  This is your date night spot as it is not kid friendly. If you are a picky eater don`t worry because there is something for everyone on the menu. With local brewed craft beer and 40 taps updated weekly, including a rotating nitro tap, you are bound to find something that will keep you coming back.  KC's Sandbar and Grill -  With an outdoor bar and seating this is where I spend my summers. for sure. Checkout their website for up to date weekly specials; my favorite 50cent wings and of course LADIES NIGHT. Looking for a meal that’s easy on the wallet? Bring your Military ID on Military Appreciation Night.  With an atmosphere centered around karaoke and live music KC`s Sandbar and Grill is a nice place to let loose.

Stewby`s Seafood Shanty – Seafood Shanty is a small take-out and dine-in seafood restaurant.  Stewby`s offers the most affordable and freshest local seafood. The fish come straight from the docks in Destin. Eat on the temperature controlled enclosed deck or take it to-go. Need something to go; give their drive through a go. While they aren’t fast food they still get your food out as fast as possible.
