Temporary Lodging Facility
It is a pleasure to welcome you and your family to the Naval Base Ventura County, Military Community. We are here to assist you in finding suitable housing whether on the local economy or in military base housing. Although the government provides quarters, it is not required to do so by law.
Availability
There are very few temporary housing units available for families. Reservations must be made in advance by contacting the BOQ/BEQ at 805-982-5785 or 805-989-8251. Pets are not allowed and active duty under PCS orders have priority.
We have a Navy Lodge at Port Hueneme site, and a Beach Motel on the beach at the Point Mugu Site, operated by Morale, Welfare & Recreation. For information and reservations, call the Beach Motel, Bldg 5-3, 805-989-8407. This switchboard is open 24 hours a day. The Navy Lodge is located at the Port Hueneme site, Bldg 1172, 800-NAVY-INN or local numbers are 805-985-2624 or 805-985-2627. These numbers are answered 24 hours a day and can give rate and availability information as well as make reservations.
Campgrounds/RV Lodging
We also have camping sites/RV at Point Mugu (on the beach) and RV sites at Port Hueneme. There are tent sites and complete trailer hookup sites as well. For information about rates and reservations, call the MWR Beach Motel Manager, 805-989-8407 or 805-982-6123.
