  • Temporary Lodging Facility (TLF)
    • Billeting is not available at Schriever AFB. The Peterson Pikes Peak Lodge is the nearest temporary lodging office and is the first point of contact for most people arriving on temporary duty or permanent change of station. Lodging has 68 temporary lodging units which primarily serve families who are PCSing to Peterson AFB, Cheyenne Mountain AS or Schriever AFB. All TLF units have fully equipped kitchens and sleeping accommodations for up to five persons. There are 95 visiting officers' quarters, 54 visiting airmen's quarters, 6 officer distinguished visitors' quarters, and 7 senior Non Commission Officer's(NCO) suites. All quarters are non-smoking.
  • Pets
    • There are limited TLF units that allow for pets.  When making lodging arrangements, ask for availability. 
  • Rates
    • Cost of lodging will be issued when making a firm reservation and a confirmation number will be provided. Some Visiting Airmen Quarters(VAQ) rooms are "room-bath-room" configuration and will be assigned to grades E-5 and below.
  • Length of Stay
    • Newcomers are limited to a fifteen day stay (first term airmen may be granted up to 30 days if this is their first duty station); extended stays are new reservations and can be approved only as space is available. Permissive TDY for house hunting purposes is limited to an ten day stay; recommend traveling with spouse only (no children) to allow assignment to available VAQ or Visiting Officer Quarters (VOQ) rooms during periods of limited TLF availability (15 May - 15 Sept). PCS-out, separating and retiring members are limited to a seven day stay only.
  • Dining Facilities
    • Personnel and families staying in the Temporary Lodging Facility, who are on a PCS move, can use the Aragon Dining Facility, Bldg 1160, by showing a copy of their orders. The orders must be validated by the Billeting Office. Other places to eat on Peterson AFB include The Club, a consolidated facility, Bldg 1013; the Golf Course, Bldg 1054; the Bowling Center, Bldg 406; McDonald's, Bldg 1466; and the food court at the Base Exchange has Starbucks, Charley’s, Robin Hood, Anthony’s Pizza, Taco Bell and Manchu Wok, Bldg 2017.
