Child Development Center
Full time care is provided for infants, pretoddlers, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Eligibility and Enrollment
The status of the sponsor determines the eligibility of the child/children to enroll into the program. Eligible patrons include military personnel, DoD civilian personnel paid from appropriated and non-appropriated funds, reservists on active duty or inactive duty for training, DoD contractors, and active duty Coast Guard. In the case of geographically separated parents meeting the above criteria who are also divorced, the child is only eligible for services if residing with the parent that meets eligibility listed above.
You can enroll your child on the waiting list by going on-line or you can come into the Child Development Center (CDC) and fill out the needed forms.
Priority Care
Weekly care is based on a priority basis (1) single/dual active duty, (2) active duty with a working spouse or a non-working student spouse, (3) reservists activated to active duty, (4) DoD civilians, (5) DoD contractors, (6) retirees with waiver.
Waiting Lists
A waiting list is maintained separately for different age groups: Infants, Pre-Toddlers, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, and 4/5 year olds. Parents with children on the waiting list are obligated to contact the Child Development Center at the beginning of each month to verify the need for service. Failure to call and update information will result in the child's name being removed from the list.
