Description
1.Families - These units can be used by active duty on leave, retirees or TDY personnel on a space-available basis. The quarters have ktichen facilities, bedroom area, private bath and other conveniences.
2.Single Enlisted - Accommodations for enlisted/civilian equivalent in PCS, TDY and leave status are available.
3.Single Officers - These quarters are available for officers, enlisted/civilian equivalent in PCS, TDY and leave status. O-6 and above will be in Distinguished Visitor's Quarters and reservations must be made through the protocol office.

Policies
*Reservations - Reservations for transient quarters can be made at any time for DoD personnel traveling on official government orders. The member or sponsor can make reservation by phone. Requests for Space Available reservation can be made 120 days in advance, depending on the occupancy and forecasted availability. All quarters are non-smoking and check in time is 2:00 p.m. There is a computer and printer located in the lobby for guests. There is also wireless accessibility in all the rooms. There is one unit equipped for special needs individual.
*Pets - Pets are not permitted in lodging facilities to include: Dorms, TLF, VOQ, BOQ and VEQ. However, six units in TLF at Columbus AFB accept pets. Pet's vaccinations must be made available at check-in and fees may apply.
